Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Corner Benches

The Heavy Duty Range of Stainless Steel Corner Benchtops is expertly designed to maximise every inch of space in busy commercial kitchens, providing clean and functional transitions between benchtop sections. Available in both square and diagonal corner configurations, these benches integrate seamlessly into L-shaped or U-shaped kitchen layouts.

Premium models are crafted from 304-grade stainless steel, prized for its superior corrosion resistance, strength, and hygiene compliance. The economy Uropa model, though made from 430-grade stainless steel, still offers reliable performance with an impressive 500 kg load capacity, but may be better suited for dry kitchen areas or lighter commercial use.

Choose from a range of sizes starting at 600 × 600 × 900 mm, up to larger variants like 900 × 900 × 900 mm, with splashbacks ranging from 100 mm to 150 mm and fitted with sturdy undershelves. These benches are ideal for use in restaurants, catering operations, food prep zones, or dishwashing areas—especially where space optimisation is critical.

When your kitchen needs every corner to work as hard as you do, this benchtop range turns unused space into high-functioning efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions About Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Corner Benches

How is the Economy corner benchtop different from the Premium version?

The Economy model is made from 430-grade stainless steel with galvanised steel legs. The Premium version steps up to full 304-grade stainless steel throughout, including the legs, with extra bracing for better performance in wet or corrosive environments.

How much weight can the Economy corner benchtop safely hold?

The Economy model holds up to 500kg, a strong capacity for an entry-level option, provided the load is distributed evenly across the surface.

Why is the Economy model recommended for dry areas only, despite its high 500kg load rating?

Weight capacity and corrosion resistance are separate things. The Economy model's 430-grade construction and galvanised legs handle heavy loads well, but 430-grade is more prone to corrosion under constant moisture than 304-grade. That's why it's recommended for dry, general-purpose areas rather than wet, high-splash, or coastal environments, even though it can physically support significant weight.

What splashback height should I choose, for a corner bench near a dishwashing area versus a dry prep zone?

For dishwashing or high-splash areas, the taller 150mm splashback offers better wall protection against constant water exposure. For dry prep zones with minimal splashing, the 100mm option is generally sufficient.
